Lesson Packet has no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or server-side database. The composer runs in your browser.
What stays on your device
The composer saves your current lesson draft in your browser’s local storage so an accidental refresh does not erase your work. You can replace it with “Start over,” or clear it through your browser’s site-data settings.
An exported packet stores learner responses only when its teacher enabled “Remember learner progress.” That copy is held in the learner’s browser local storage. The learner can clear it from inside the packet. Downloaded HTML, JSON, and text response files are ordinary files controlled by the person who downloaded them.
What we receive
We do not receive lesson content, names, responses, templates, or packet files. The site makes no runtime requests to third-party services. Hosting infrastructure may retain short-lived security logs such as an IP address and requested path; those logs are not used to profile learners or teachers.
Choices and contact
You can use the exported packet completely offline. Do not include sensitive student information unless your school has approved how the resulting files will be stored and shared. Questions can be raised through the project’s public source repository.
